Agreement

By downloading or using Wanderbook ("the app" or "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Wanderbook ("we," "us," or "our").

The service

Wanderbook is an iOS application that helps you create printed keepsake books from your outdoor walks and photos. The service includes the iOS app, this website, and associated backend services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes.

Your account

You may use the app to create and preview books without an account. An account (via Sign in with Apple) is required to place print orders. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

Your content

You retain full ownership of all photos, health data, and other content you use within the app. By placing a print order, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and transmit your book PDF to our print partner solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

You represent that you own or have the right to use all content included in your book, and that your book does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

You may not use Wanderbook to create books containing content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that violates the rights of others.

Print orders

Print orders are fulfilled by Lulu, our third-party print partner. By placing an order, you agree to Lulu's terms of service in addition to ours. Once an order enters production it cannot be cancelled.

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, but delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to factors outside our control. Shipping costs and timelines are provided at checkout.

If your printed book arrives damaged or defective, contact us at hello@wanderbook.app within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement.

Payments

Payment for print orders is processed securely. All prices are shown in USD and are inclusive of printing costs. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.

All sales are final except where a product is damaged or defective.

Intellectual property

The Wanderbook app, website, logo, and all associated software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the service without our written permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including any loss of data or inaccuracies in book generation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
